The Arts are alive and well at Howick Prep School and the disciplines of music and drama are offered to our pupils in a variety of forms.

We are most fortunate to have a well-equipped Music Department that encourages pupils to participate with enthusiasm during class music, singing or instrument work.  

Our musical skills are often showcased by our two choirs - the Dinky Choir (Grades 1 to 3) and the Senior Choir (Grades 4 to 7) - performances at school, e.g. the Annual Easter Service and Hospice Carol Service, as well as invitational choir events.

Drama-related skills, which help our pupils gain confidence, are taught.  Drama Club is offered as part of our extra-curricular programme where many skills related to acting, movement, dance and general stagecraft are developed. Pupils also participate in the Annual Speech and Drama Festival.
